realme GT5 comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform, paired with UFS 4.0 and LPDDR5X RAM. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is accompanied with Pixelworks X7 chip.
The top configuration of realme GT5 comes with 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The other variants include 12GB+256GB and 16GB+256GB RAM and storage. The differences between these three variants are not only the RAM and storage capacities but also the charging speeds. The 24GB+1TB variant comes with 240W fast charging, while remaining variants have 150W fast charging.
240W variant of realme GT5 is equipped with a dual-cell battery, each with a capacity of 2300 mAh, totaling 4600 mAh. The 150W realme GT5 also features a dual-cell battery design but with a slightly higher capacity of 5240 mAh.
realme markets the GT5 with the slogan “30 seconds charge, 2 hours talk” and the 240W is incredibly fast, with an 80 second charge taking the phone from 0% to 20%. The 150W variant also boasts impressive charging speeds, outpacing many phones available in the market that take nearly 2 hours to charge. 150W variant achieves 50% charge in just 7 minutes.
