What does the new build of ColorOS bring to the table?

The alpha build of the Android 14 update for Reno 8 Pro is based on the ColorOS 13.1 and hence, no major changes have been observed till now. However, the final build will be based on ColorOS 14 which will totally rely on the Android 14 for its functionality. As of right now, the update has the build number CPH2357_11_F.09. The update also weighs a whopping 6.34 GB in size. So if you have got the update, you better use the WiFi instead of the cellular network.

Concerning the changelog, it says “Hello everyone, the Android version is newly upgraded! And the beta of ColorOS which is deeply customized based on Android 12 is beginning as scheduled! This new system focuses on stabilizing the overall performance, continuously strengthens system security as well as privacy protections, and improves cross-platform and cross-terminal interconnection. More features await your exploration. Hope you have a nice experience!”

As we can read, the changelog only gives us an overall glimpse of what this new update brings to the table. However, it lacks the detailed information. We can expect the final build of the ColorOS 14 to be ready in the upcoming days. It would be interesting to see if the new version brings any major improvements or changes to the UI or not.
