OnePlus Nord 3 gets a new update in India; again promises extended battery life

OnePlus had launched its Nord 3 smartphone in India a few months back. It is nothing but the rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 2V launched in China. The device offers very good specifications and features for its price. However, the one thing that is concerning is the poor battery performance of the gadget. The brand had previously rolled out an update that claimed to extend the battery life, but users reported that it did not bring any major improvements to the device.

Now within a month of the last OTA update, the firm has started rolling out a new update for the OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone in India. This update also claims to further extend the battery life of the smartphone, along with new camera enhancements and system optimizations.

OnePlus Nord 3 bags a new update with improved cameras and battery life

The new update for the OnePlus Nord 3 comes with the build number CPH2491_13.1.0.570(EX01). Currently, we do not have any information on the package size of the OTA but most probably it would be less than 1GB in size. Coming down to the changelog, it highlights the extended battery life, improved cameras, and improved system stability. You can further refer to the complete update changelog below-

System

  • Extends battery life
  • Improves system stability.

Cameras

  • Improves camera performance for more vivid colors, greater exposure effects, and higher clarity.

Also, keep in mind that the update is rolling out in batches and it will reach a broader audience in the upcoming days. The brand follows this approach to make sure that no major issue is present on the device. The rollout process ensures that the update is terminated as soon as any major bug or issue is spotted therefore resulting in a stable experience.

So that was it for the post. You can check for the update manually by going to settings >> about phone >> software update section.
