OnePlus Ace 2 Pro tops the AnTuTu performance list of August 2023

The performance part of the OnePlus smartphones has been quite underwhelming in the past. Even though their devices offer the top-notch flagship chipsets, the software fails to execute its full power and sometimes, it throttles much. Turning on performance does show some improvements but it’s not the proper solution either. But the recent updates rolled out by the brand have reportedly acknowledged these issues and hence some devices saw major improvements in the performance part.

Well going back to our main topic, AnTuTu has released its list of top-performing smartphones for the month of August 2023. The AnTuTu releases this list every month with the updated scores and smartphones which helps us to get a rough idea of how the top-tier smartphones are performing. The newly released list has some surprising stats to share.

It has recently been reported that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, released in August 2023, has received an impressive score of 1,648,735 points, making it the best-performing smartphone in the market. Despite not being considered a flagship device, it has been dubbed a “flagship killer”. The model tested by AnTuTu, which boasts 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, is priced at CNY 2,999 ($410), while the higher-end model costs CNY 3,999 ($550). The Ace 2 Pro has become extremely popular among Chinese consumers, with demand exceeding the company’s supply.

The real standout in these phones, including the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which handles most of the demanding tasks. Interestingly, all of the phones in the top 10 list, including the iQOO 11S that came in second place with a score of 1,648,735 points, use this processor. The RedMagic 8S Pro+, iQOO 11, Vivo X90 Pro+, OnePlus 11, Realme GT5, iQOO 11, Vivo X Fold 2, and Oppo Find X6 Pro are the devices that follow suit.

The report is filled with surprises and unexpected revelations. As the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro has not been released outside China, we have yet to test it in real life. Nevertheless, this report has certainly increased our excitement.
