Realme is actively engaged in the global release of its newest product, the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro TWS. This true wireless stereo (TWS) device has already made its debut in China. The company has also hinted at its upcoming launch in India, coinciding with the official event unveiling the Realme 11 Pro smartphone series.
And now, the upcoming Realme Buds Air 5 Pro has been listed on Indian BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) and Malaysian SIRIM (Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia) ahead of the launch. This also hints that we are heading very closer to the official launch of the product.
Noted leaker Mukul Sharma has recently discovered the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards and Malaysia’s SIRIM certification platforms. In both databases, the Buds Air 5 Pro is registered under the model number RMA2301, suggesting that both variants will possess identical specifications and functionalities.
Apart from this, the certification does not reveal any other information regarding the specifications and features of the device.
The TWS earphone comes with an 11 mm dynamic driver and secondary drivers measuring 6 mm. It is equipped with active noise cancellation capabilities of up to 50 dB. Additionally, it is equipped with triple built-in microphones that provide AI noise cancellation during calls. The earbuds also support Spatial sound effects and the LDAC codec.
The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro is fueled by a 460mAh battery, with each earbud supported by a 60mAh cell. They provide a combined battery life of 40 hours. These TWS earphones have an IPX5 water-resistant rating and are equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. In China, the device costs CNY 399 (~$56/ INR 4,600). Based on the Chinese pricing, we can expect the device to be priced in India at around INR 5,500 or even INR 5,000.
