Just recently, Realme introduced its mid-range focused smartphones, the Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+, in India. These devices offer impressive features including a 120Hz curved AMOLED display, a 200-megapixel primary camera for the Pro+ variant, a 100-megapixel primary camera for the Pro variant, and a stylish leather design.
Unfortunately, the fans had high hopes for the brand to unveil the long-awaited Realme Buds Air 5 Pro TWS during the event. However, to their disappointment, it did not happen. Nevertheless, the brand did provide a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming truly wireless earbuds at the event.
Realme Buds Air 5 Pro teased to launch in India
The design schematic of the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro, which was unveiled during the Realme 11 Pro 5G series launch event, indicates that the TWS earphones will bear resemblance to the Chinese variant. The earphones feature a semi-in-ear design with a stem and angled ear tips.
The Indian variant of the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro is expected to be similar to the Chinese variant, with no significant differences. Since the Buds Air 5 Pro has already been released in China, we are already aware of all the specifications and features of this device.
The TWS earphone comes with an 11 mm dynamic driver and secondary drivers measuring 6 mm. It is equipped with active noise cancellation capabilities of up to 50 dB. Additionally, it is equipped with triple built-in microphones that provide AI noise cancellation during calls. The earbuds also support Spatial sound effects and the LDAC codec.
The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro is fueled by a 460mAh battery, with each earbud supported by a 60mAh cell. They provide a combined battery life of 40 hours. These TWS earphones have an IPX5 water-resistant rating and are equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. In China, the device costs CNY 399 (~$56/ INR 4,600). Based on the Chinese pricing, we can expect the device to be priced in India at around INR 5,500 or even INR 5,000.
