OnePlus is working hard to release the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro smartphone in China as soon as possible. The device has been the subject of leaks and rumors on the internet. Now, we finally have an official word on the launch timeline on the device. A known tipster has also leaked the exact launch date of the device.
OnePlus’ official Chinese microblogging platform Weibo recently posted a teaser that confirms that the device would launch in the country the next month. Adding more to this, the known tipster Digital Chat Station has said that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro would be officially launched on August 16th. This is in line with the time frame given by the brand.
Should this news be confirmed, we can anticipate additional teaser releases from the brand in the days to come. We eagerly await details on the official launch date as well.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro expected specifications
Starting with the display, OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is confirmed to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and up to 120Hz high refresh rate support. Under the hood, the device is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The gadget would be available in as high as 24GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard internal storage.
As far as cameras are concerned, the mobile phone will have a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixels secondary ultrawide, and a tertiary periscope lens. On the front, the gadget could pack a 16-megapixel selfie snapper. Further, it would pack a 5000mAh battery with the possible support of up to 100W SuperVOOC charging.
