OPPO Find X6 Pro DxOMark camera test result revealed, best smartphone camera in the world!

Honor Magic5 Pro used to be the top dog in DxOMark’s camera test for a while, but now OPPO Find X6 Pro has taken over as the new champ. DxOMark says OPPO Find X6 Pro has improved so much that it is not only good at photos but can even shoot better video than iPhone 14 Pro. While iPhone can shoot 10-bit HDR video, OPPO prefers to record 8-bit SDR, surely the technology preferred by both brands is different. OPPO Find X6 Pro seems to nail HDR photos with less artifacts than competitors found in DxOMark’s camera test, thanks to the focal length choices by OPPO.The phone’s all three rear cameras deliver impressive performance even under low lighting. DxOMark made a comparison between various smartphones from various brands like vivo, Xiaomi, Apple and Honor. OPPO Find X6 Pro ranked first by gaining 153 points in the camera section and beats the old champ, Honor Magic5 Pro.

OPPO Find X6 Pro features a main camera with 1-inch Sony IMX 989 sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, equivalent to a 23mm lens. Its wide angle and telephoto cameras use the same 1/1.56″ Sony IMX 890 sensor which is found in OnePlus 11’s primary camera. The telephoto camera offers 2.8x optical zoom with an f/2.6 aperture and a 65mm focal length. Meanwhile, the ultra-wide angle camera boasts an f/2.2 aperture lens and a 15mm focal length.

OPPO Find X6 Pro DxOMark camera test

OPPO Find X6 Pro offered the highest level of detail among all the photos taken under low-light conditions, despite all three flagship devices being tested to their limits. At first glance, only thing different seems to be the colors, but OPPO has a lot of detail inside.

Zooming in and taking a closer look reveals that the OPPO Find X6 Pro took the photo that is by far the best. Honor Magic5 Pro’s image looks like noise reduction is applied, but the end result is an extremely soft image. iPhone’s image is quite grainy.

DxOMark didn’t make a comparison with other phones for this photo, but OPPO Find X6 Pro’s telephoto camera performs very well even in low light. Here’s a zoomed shot.

OPPO Find X6 Pro boasts an excellent quality of lens and the huge sensor measuring 1 inch on its main camera, which makes it capable of effortlessly capturing high dynamic range images under any lighting condition.

OPPO Find X6 Pro is very good for capturing this photo with a perfect balance between the sunlight coming out of the window and the lamp light, resulting in a natural and seamless blend of the two light sources.

The colors and overall look in these three photos are quite different, but DxOMark points out that the artifacts around the model’s hair in the photo taken by Xiaomi 13 Pro are not present in OPPO Find X6 Pro. Let’s zoom in.

iPhone 14 Pro’s shot appears to be free of any artifacts after going through HDR processing. Yet, it appears that these three images were not taken at the same time judging by the clouds. Although OPPO Find X6 Pro performed better than Xiaomi 13 Pro, DxOMark should have added additional photos for a more thorough comparison. Once again, OPPO performs best here and the owns the sharpest image.
