Realme GT Neo5 was already introduced in February, and now Realme unveils their new smartphone, Realme GT Neo5 SE just launched in China. One of the most notable features of Realme GT Neo5 SE is that it boasts a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. Realme GT Neo5 SE comes in two different colors.

It turns out that Qualcomm’s recently released Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset is fairly powerful, performing nearly as good as the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor from last year. The battery powering this powerful processor has a capacity of 5500 mAh. In addition to featuring a large battery, the Realme GT Neo5 SE enables 100W fast charging.
The previous model has faster charging but a 5000 mAh battery. Realme GT Neo5 SE’s 100W charging is already fast enough, the additional 500 mAh battery is a much better combination. Realme claims that they are concerned with battery health as well and that the battery still has more than 80% life after 1600 complete charging cycles. Even though it packs 5500 mAh battery, Realme GT Neo5 SE is 8.95mm thick and weighs 193.1g.
Realme GT Neo5 SE will come with LPDDR5X RAM and will feature UFS 3.1 as the storage unit. Realme GT Neo5 SE has a special version with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. Although 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage sounds overkill, Chinese phone manufacturers must be following this new trend. Redmi Note 12 Turbo from Xiaomi also comes in a version with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. Realme GT Neo5 SE’s display is also incredibly exciting and it is 6.74-inch in size.
The display will have a 1.5K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, and 2160 Hz PWM dimming. We know 1.5K resolution doesn’t mean too much, it is obvious that it will be sharper than a Full HD display. When we look at the back of phone, we see that LED light which exists on Realme GT Neo5 has disappeared. The phone comes with a triple camera setup, 64 MP main camera, 8 MP ultra wide angle camera and 2 MP macro camera. None of the cameras have optical image stabilisation. In addition, the phone has NFC and Infrared, but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack and an SD card slot.

The price it will be sold for on global market is currently unknown, here’s the Chinese pricing. This is another cheap phone with 1 TB storage, just like one from Xiaomi, Redmi Note 12 Turbo.
