Realme launched its flagship killer Realme GT Neo 5 smartphone in China in February. Soon after, the smartphone was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2023. The device has some really impressive specifications, including a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera, and up to 100W of fast wired charging support.
The device’s Pro variant was previously expected to be released soon. In addition, a new report making the rounds on the internet claims that the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro will be released very soon because it has been listed on the Chinese MIIT authority.
The next Realme flagship phone has been named the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro, according to a recent Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station. The MIIT authority in China has approved two new Realme phones. It’s possible that it’s the GT Neo 5 Pro.
The MIIT authority has certified two different Realme smartphones with the model numbers RMX3820 and RMX3823. It’s unclear whether these model numbers represent separate phones or variations of the same phone designed for different Chinese networks. As a result, the RMX3820/3 is most likely the upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 Pro.
The upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 Pro is reported to feature a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will run on Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 chipset, it is expected to offer 16GB RAM and up to 512 GB storage. The phone will have a large battery and 100W charging capability. It may also have a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and a new rear design similar to the Realme 11 Pro series. Please note that these specifications are based on reports and subject to change upon the official release.
