The Realme GT 5 is just around the corner, and we are not far from the device’s formal launch. The smartphone will be introduced in China on August 28th, 2023 at 02:00 PM local time, according to an official report. According to the most recent update on the series, a Geekbench listing reveals the Realme GT 5 will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and the “killer feature” of 24GB RAM on one of the versions, as previously disclosed.
An upcoming Realme device with the model number RMX3823 has been spotted on the Geekbench certification (via MySmartPrice). The gadget is none other than the forthcoming GT 5 smartphone. The device is supposed to have two variants; one with faster charging and lesser battery capacity and the other one with compartively slower faster charging but larger battery capacity. Both the devices will land with the model number RMX 3820 and RMX 3823.
The one available right now is allegedly the device’s highest end model. The RAM on the Realme RMX3823 is 24GB, whereas the RAM on the Realme RMX3820 is 16GB. Aside from that, both variants feature the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and Android 13 operating system.
The Realme RMX3823 received a single-core performance score of 2011 and a multi-core performance score of 5305. Meanwhile, the RMX3820 model scored 1491 points in single-core testing and 4087 points in multi-core testing.
As for the rumoured specifications, the device is expected to feature a 6.7-inches Super AMOLED panel with up to 144Hz high refresh rate support and 1.5K screen resolution. Under the hood, the device would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 2.0 storage.
Concerning the cameras, it would have a triple rear cameras with a 50-megapixels primary lens having support for OIS. There would be 16-megapixels selfie snapper. Further, the device will pack a 4600mAh battery with 240W fast wired charging support.
