OnePlus Nord 3 spotted on Geekbench certification, launch imminent

OnePlus is gearing up to launch its new mid-range oriented Nord series smartphone in Indian markets. The device will land in the market as a successor to the existing OnePlus Nord 2. The device will be officially marketed as the “OnePlus Nord 3”. Some real-life images of the device were leaked previously, which showcase a great display on the front with minimal bezels around the screen.

Now, hinting at the upcoming launch, the device has been listed on the Geekbench certification.

An upcoming OnePlus smartphone with the model number CPH2491 has recently visited the Geekbench listings. The device has got a single-core score of 1552 and a multi-core score of 4253. The certification also reveals that it would be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset.

The variant listed on the site has 16GB of RAM and runs on Android 13. This confirms that there would be at least one variant with 16GB of RAM and there would be other variants as well. Apart from this, the certification does not reveal anything about the device.

The upcoming OnePlus Nord 3 is set to come with the latest OxygenOS 13, which is based on Android 13, right out of the box. With a powerful 5000 mAh battery, the phone ensures long-lasting usage and is complemented by the support of 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, enabling quick replenishment of the battery. Its display is a treat for the eyes, offering a 1.5K resolution with 1240 x 2772 pixels, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz for smooth scrolling and vibrant visuals.

As for storage, the base variant of the OnePlus Ace 2V is expected to come with 256 GB, and it is likely that similar storage and RAM configurations will be available globally. Leaked images have also revealed the existence of a 256 GB variant for the OnePlus Nord 3, providing ample space for users’ apps, files, and multimedia content.
