OnePlus has long been rumored to be working on a foldable phone, and it’s now confirmed that the OnePlus V Fold and V Flip will be introduced. It was recently reported that OnePlus had submitted a trademark registration application for its upcoming foldable phones.
OnePlus does not yet have a foldable device on the market, but we expect it to be introduced shortly. OPPO Find N2 is a foldable phone that is currently available for sale, but unfortunately not globally. It will be much simpler to enter global market after a foldable device is released under OnePlus branding. On January 17, OnePlus submitted a trademark application for the upcoming OnePlus V Fold.
WHYLAB published a post that the OnePlus V Fold could be unveiled soon on Weibo (Chinese social media platform). While the technical specifications of OnePlus V Fold and OnePlus V Flip are not yet clear at the moment, we speculate that OnePlus V Fold will be similar to OPPO Find N3 or N2. Lots of curiosity was sparked by the OPPO Find N2’s compact size and folding but lightweight design.
If OnePlus V Fold shares identical features with OPPO Find N3, the global market will soon have access to another premium foldable device. OPPO Find N3 isn’t unveiled yet but rumors suggest that it will feature a 2K display and latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. For the camera setup it might feature Sony IMX 890 which is same as OnePlus 11’s main camera sensor.
